DANCE at Hidden Valley

Join us on Sunday, May 24 at 3:00 pm at Hidden Valley Music Seminars for an enchanting afternoon of movement and live music at DANCE at Hidden Valley’s 2nd Annual Spring Recital. Celebrate the passion, dedication, and artistry of local dancers as performers of all ages take the stage, sharing their hard work and creativity with the community in a heartfelt showcase.
Featuring performances in ballet, modern, and groove & tumble, this recital highlights dancers ages 3 through adult. The program will also include a special guest performance by Ballare Carmel, adding an extra touch of professional artistry and inspiration to the stage.
This year’s performance also features a special guest artist presentation of The Watson, a solo by internationally recognized, Chicago-born choreographer Robyn Mineko Williams, whose work has been commissioned by leading companies including Pacific Northwest Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Malpaso Dance Company, and Royal New Zealand Ballet. The solo will be performed by Geoffrey Alexander, who previously danced professionally with Big Muddy Dance Company in St. Louis, Missouri before relocating to California. This is a rare opportunity to experience Williams’ acclaimed work in an intimate setting.
General Admission is Pay-What-You-Can, with a suggested donation of $30 (equivalent to the price of a drop-in dance class).
VIP Patron Tickets are $100 and include reserved seating and recognition in the printed program.
