BALLARE CARMEL

Artistic Director Lillian Barbeito is launching Ballare Carmel on September 18th, 2021, to create and share outstanding professional dance in Monterey County and beyond. After so much isolation and lack of employment across the field, Ballare Carmel is thrilled to offer this week-long workshop/audition that is designed to provide dancers with a TRANSFORMATIONAL in-person experience in a safe and productive COVID-free environment. Throughout the week dancers will work closely with Artistic Director Lillian Barbeito and Ballare Carmel company members on Countertechnique, progressive ballet, partnering, movement generation, repertory, and performance skills. It is an ideal opportunity for dancers to develop/enhance their partnering skills while experiencing this conspicuously new troupe’s’ working atmosphere and be considered for the company’s creations and performances scheduled for Spring and Summer of 2022.
