This fun dance camp for ages 5+ includes a supervised walk from Tular's campus to Hidden Valley Music
Seminars, dance technique, dance games, and learning original choreography set to KPOP Demon Hunters!

Our 2025 November Dance Camp is under the expert guidance of Lillian Barbeito, a distinguished graduate of The Juilliard School with over 30 years of experience in dance education. Lillian, a seasoned professional, takes immense pride in her role as a parent to two CUSD students and eagerly seizes the opportunity to share the magic of dance with the Carmel Valley community.
Furthermore, we are thrilled to have GEOFF ALEXANDER, a faculty member at DANCE at Hidden Valley, who will be provide jazz dance instruction and original choreography.

COST:
$250 ~ Early Bird Discount: Register by November 1st
$295 ~ Regular Tuition: November 2nd and later​
Please note that all tuition payments are nonrefundable. If your child is unable to participate for any reason,
we will issue a credit that may be applied toward a future camp or ongoing classes. Credits remain valid for six months.
SAMPLE SCHEDULE:
• 12:35–12:50 PM – Walk to Hidden Valley Music Seminars
• 12:50–1:00 PM – Restroom break & prep: wash feet and hands, brush hair and secure it off the face
• 1:00–1:45 PM – Dance Technique (Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary)
• 1:45–2:00 PM – Dance Games
• 2:00–2:50 PM – Originaly KPOP Choreography
• 2:50–3:00 PM – Group Snack
• 3:00 PM – Pick-up at HVMS
About Camp Director & Instructor:

Lillian
Barbeito
DANCE at Hidden Valley, Director
LILLIAN BARBEITO brings more than 35 years of dance experience as an artist, producer, director, and educator to her roles as Founder of Carmel Dance Festival. and Director of DANCE at Hidden Valley, During the course of her career, she has been a performer with contemporary dance companies, the co-founder of a world-renowned non-profit organization, and an internationally recognized, certified teacher of Countertechnique.

Lillian is a graduate of The Juilliard School, was professor of dance at Loyola Marymount University for over 10 years, and served as Cultural Ambassador of the USA to Isreal, Jordan, and Algeria.
​
She teaches ballet, pointe, modern, Countertechnique, choreography, improvisation, contact/partnering, and mentors aspiring dancers on their summer study and collage audition journies.
Geoff
Alexander
DANCE at Hidden Valley Instructor
Based in Monterey, California, Geoff Alexander is a contemporary dancer, choreographer, and educator originally from St. Louis, Missouri.
​
He holds a BA in Theatre & Dance from Southern Illinois University. Geoff began his professional dance career in 2008 with ATrek Dance Collective, performing in festivals, outreach programs, and company concerts. In 2011, he was a founding member of The Big Muddy Dance Company (now known as St. Louis Dance Theatre), where he performed works by many distinguished choreographers.
As an educator, Geoff has taught contemporary, jazz, and tumbling classes at universities and studios. He now works as a freelance performer, offers masterclasses, and choreographs. We are delighted that Geoff is teaching weekly Jazz & Contemporary classes for DANCE at Hidden Valley!

Bottoms: Leggings or fitted shorts are appropriate for all dancers. Students who choose to wear a skirt or dress must have fitted shorts or a dance underlayer underneath; otherwise, participation will not be permitted.

Tops: A fitted t-shirt or tank top is required. Large logos or graphics are discouraged.

Hair: All dancers with long hair must have it securely pulled back off the face and neck (ponytail or bun).

Footwear: Jazz shoes or non-slip (sticky) socks are recommended. If unavailable, dancers may work barefoot.

Personal Items: Each dancer should bring a filled water bottle and a light snack to maintain energy during breaks.
