About the Experience
About the Event
Promising dancers and emerging choreographers from across the United States come together for Carmel Dance Festival's Fellowship Program. Over the course of one week, new works are created, showcasing extraordinary creativity and collaboration. Experience excerpts from these innovative pieces, reimagined with live music.
For the past two years, Sandbox has partnered with Carmel Dance Festival Fellows to ring in the New Year, and 2025 is no exception. What better way to welcome the year than with an inspiring evening of live music and dance?
This year’s Choreography Fellows include Branndi Lewis, Daniel Ojeda, and Justin Rapaport. The afternoon will include structured improvisation and a sneak peek at material from Ballare Carmel’s first evening-length work, created by Resident Choreographer Javon "Ja'Moon" Jones.
Stay tuned for the announcement of the amazing musicians we have in store for this year's performance.
