About the Experience

For our 2nd Annual Summer Performance Series,  Carmel Dance Festival has commissioned Chicago-based choreographer Noelle Kayser to make an immersive contemporary dance piece inspired by the pioneering women writers of Carmel. Staged at idyllic Folktale Winery and Vineyards, this memorable dance experience will begin along the cobblestone pathway and secluded courtyard outside The Barrel Room, continue in The Rose Vineyard with the Santa Lucia Mountains as the backdrop, and then culminate in The Vineyard House, a tucked-away luxurious villa.

All tickets are VIP and include onsite parking, extraordinary dance, and served canapes:

~Artichoke Beignets, Lemon Aioli (Vegan)

~Shaved Summer Squash Crostata, Whipped Tofu, Kalamata Olive (Vegetarian)

~Prime Steak Tartar on Marrow Toast, Saffron “Yolk” (Gluten-Free)

Drinks are available for purchase. Comfortable shoes are recommended. We suggest arriving at 3 pm to park and enjoy a beverage. The dance performance will begin at 3:30 pm and culminate at approximately 4:30 pm with served canapes.

In accordance with current guidelines from the California Department of Public Health, Carmel Dance Festival no longer requires Covid-19 vaccination verification or proof of negative test prior to attending our events. Masks are still welcome and encouraged while indoors.
