Explore the Art of Contact Improvisation with Lillian Barbeito
Contact Improvisation is a unique and dynamic dance form where gravity, momentum, and touch come together to create a conversation through movement. It’s about trust, discovery, and connection—sometimes gentle, sometimes playful, but always deeply rooted in mutual exchange. In this workshop, you’ll explore the fundamentals: how to give and receive weight, how to listen with your body, and how to move fluidly with the energy of another person.
Imagine it as a fusion of a massage, a dance party, and a workout—all wrapped into one joyful, transformative experience. It’s an art form that invites you to move creatively and freely, building both physical strength and emotional connection.
Afterward, we'll gather to nourish ourselves with refreshing kombucha, because movement—just like life—is best enjoyed in balance.
